Instrutor Sapão (Aron Högberg) started training capoeira in 2008 with a local group in Gothenburg. The group eventually closed down and Aron moved to Paris, training under Mestre Chicote.
After moving back to Gothenburg in 2014 he trained with a couple of friends for some time before joining the Volta Por Cima family, and started the Gothenburg group in 2016.
